1. Who we are
This website and the Cargo Crane brand are operated by Cargo Crane EOOD (Карго Крейн ЕООД) (single-member limited liability company / ЕООД), with registered office at ул. „Професор Иван Георгов“ № 1А, гр. София, България, registered under UIC (ЕИК) 208877398, VAT BG208877398 (the “Company”, “we”, “us”). The Company is the data controller for the personal data described here. 2. What personal data we collect
- Quote requests. When you use our request-a-quote form, we collect the contact name, email address and phone number you provide, together with the shipment details you enter (origin, destination, weight, number of pallets, delivery type, ADR / temperature flags and any note).
- Correspondence. Information you include when you email or otherwise contact us.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type and timestamps) to operate and secure the site.
3. Why we use it, and the legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote, i.e. to take steps at your request prior to entering a contract — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- To operate, maintain and secure the website — our legitimate interests, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- To comply with legal obligations where applicable — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
4. Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers (“processors”) that act only on our instructions:
- Vercel Inc. — website hosting and serverless functions.
- Resend — email delivery for quote notifications and confirmations.
- Komoot GmbH (Photon) — when you type a city in the form, that text is sent to the Photon geocoding service to suggest matching locations.
We may also share the details strictly necessary to arrange the transport you request with carriers and partners. We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (for example in the United States). Where they do, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, and thereafter only as required for legal, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Bulgaria, the Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP).
